The latest release for the [i]merchant Inventory Control/POS
software system is now available.
Incorporated in this release is a new and fully integrated Accounting
Extract, which is run by general ledger number, and ceates a file
for import to Quick Books or other general ledger software, for
all store activity.
Also available for [i]merchant is a Used Book Buying module for
purchasing used items and adding them directly to the system at
their appropriate price, condition, and store location while at
the same time issuing a customer voucher for use at POS.

The latest [i]merchant release contains many new features and enhancements making this state-of-the-art software package even more powerful.
New features include:
• The system is now EAN-13 ready.
• Receiving can be done by single product or in bulk.
• Suggested returns and reorders can be automatically applied through receiving by using interactive problem codes.
• A user-controlled designed is available for formatting reports.
• Product lists can be created from and used as input for inventory searches, ordering, and reporting.
• Labels can be designed by the user.
• Shipping codes with full and partial shipment fees are fully integrated.
• The Book Sense Givex gift card, as well as in-house gift cards, are available.
• Links to Above-the-Treeline and Book Scan are fully functioning.
• POS is touch screen-enabled.
