LTL Software
Rating & Billing is at the heart of the ROADVision LTL Software package. Managing rates and tariffs can be a complex and costly process in the world of LTL trucking. ROADVision has all the features and capabilities you need to simplify billing operations and meet the demands of your customers. This maintenance dialogue displays, in one place, all the information your billing entry people want to see along with a number of access points for retrieving and viewing additional data as needed. Information for shipper, consignee, and bill-to accounts can be searched and pulled into Pro Entry with ease along with the appropriate rates and tariffs. Behind the scenes, ROADVision's powerful rating engine automates the process, greatly reducing errors and speeding entry. Rates and tariffs can be based on weight, mileage, pallets, pallet spaces, cube, and a number of other factors. For LTL carriers handling interline shipments, advance and beyond carriers can be entered with splits as fixed or calculated amounts based on D83 rates or on your own custom contract. Frequently entered commodities, accessorials, or comments can be quickly retrieved from the "item" master file to save time and reduce errors.
The program provides D.O.T. nomenclature to meet paperwork requirements for hazardous material shipments. Line item billing (i.e. split billing) and line item revenue booking are supported. On a prepaid bill for example, the shipper can be billed for freight charges and a COD handling fee can be automatically charged to the consignee. For revenue booking, freight charges can be posted to one G/L account while accessorial charges are automatically posted to another.
ROADVision supports multiple terminal locations, freight payment companies and a consolidated billing process. Pros can be searched and retrieved using a wide range of criteria. In addition, the billing program can automatically print required documentation (POD and/or BOL images) with billing runs.
