Transportation Software
The successful management of a trucking operation in today’s competitive marketplace requires timely, meaningful information and analysis. ROADVision’s transportation software package provides a suite of reports that includes more than 220 different report varieties accessed through an exclusive “palette” interface. Some reports are relatively simple “lists” while others offer you a wide variety of sort, selection and filtering capabilities for extensive analysis.
All reports are processed using the Crystal Reports engine. A sophisticated report “pre-viewer” allows easy zoom-in/zoom-out, paging and text searching capabilities. ROADVision automatically designates a printer based on report type or you can easily change printer assignment on the fly. Reports can be emailed or faxed seamlessly from the Crystal interface. Crystal also provides the capability to export reports to a variety of file formats including PDF, Text, Excel, Word, etc. No other transportation software package offers the same flexibility and ease of use.
ROADVision information is maintained on Microsoft’s “open architecture” SQL database. Using an ODBC connection, you can use a number of compatible query and reporting tools including Microsoft’s Excel and Access programs for custom queries and “what if” scenarios. Also, with a full version of the Crystal Report Writer, you have the option to create your own proprietary reports.
