The PO Product Detail Find program allows you to find any product in your system and call up all previous and current PO information for that product. For example, let's say you want to find out the PO history of Harry Potter. You can run the Find to call up Harry Potter, and the PO history for that book will then display.
To access the PO Product Detail Find program:
From the main menu, choose Modules-Purchasing-PO Product Detail Find. The PO Product Detail Find screen will display.
At this point, run a search for a product (or products) whose PO history you want to see. You can run the search using Products as the search criteria, or you can use any of a number of other search criteria. But either way, the program will call up a list of products and the PO history for those products. For information on running a standard search, please click here.
Once you have set your search criteria and run your search, the results will display in the grid in the lower portion of the screen. If you ran your search for just one product, just that product's PO history will display. If you ran the search for multiple products, then all of them will display.
The columns of the grid portray a plethora of information, including PO number, Received Status, quantity received, and so on.
If you want to view the PO properties for a particular PO:
Highlight the appropriate row in the grid, then click on the Purchase Order toolbar icon at the top of the screen. You will be taken to PO properties for the PO number you just selected.
If you want to view the Product Properties for a product in the grid:
Highlight the appropriate row in the grid, then click on the Product toolbar icon at the top of the screen. You will be taken to the Product Properties page for the product you just selected.
If you want to add some or all of the products in the grid to an existing Product List, or create a new Product List:
Highlight the appropriate row in the grid, then click on the Product List toolbar icon at the top of the screen. You will be taken to the Product List Find window.
