The Receiving Detail Find program allows you to find any products in your system and call up all previous and current Receiving information for those products. This is similar to the Receiving Detail window in Product Properties, except, here, you are not restricted to one title. You can call up the Receiving information for many products simultaneously in this program. (Of course, if you wish to call up the Receiving information for just one title here, you can do that, too.) For example, let's say you want to find out the Receiving history for all titles ordered between 7/17/06 and 8/17/06. Simply set up the appropriate parameters in the Find program. Once you execute the Find, a list will display in the grid at the bottom of the screen, detailing information for each product that falls under the Find parameters you have set.
To access the Receiving Detail Find program:
From the main menu, choose Modules-Receiving-Receiving Detail Find. The Receiving Detail Find screen will display.
At this point, run a search for products whose Receiving history you want to see.
Note:
Both products that have been received in ("Completed") or not yet been received in ("Pending") will display once you run the search. The system will call up all applicable products that have been ordered, whether they have been received in or not.
You can run the search using Products as the search criteria, or you can use any of a number of other search criteria. But either way, the program will call up a list of products and the Receiving history for those products. For information on running a standard search, please click here.
Once you have set your search criteria and run your search, the results will display in the grid in the lower portion of the screen. If you ran your search for just one product, just that product's Receiving history will display. If you ran the search for multiple products, then all of them will display.
The columns of the grid portray a plethora of information, including PO number, Received Status (the column is labeled "Receive Complete"), quantity ordered and received, Invoice Approved, and so on.
