Function Menu

The Function Menu, located under "Menus" at the lower right of the POS screen, is the gateway to a multitude of POS functions. . .

Shipping allows you to key in bill-to and ship-to address information when an order will be mailed to a customer.

Enter Comment allows you to key in a special comment that may be unique to the particular transaction you are tendering. Once you click on Comment, a small window appears, where you can key in a message that will appear on the bottom of the invoice receipt. Once keyed in, simply click on the "x" at the upper corner of this Comment window. During the same transaction, if you want to delete or change the comment, simply click on Comment again and make the necessary changes. Comments entered in this way will not carry over from one sale to the next. They are unique to the current sale only.

Event Code allows you to choose from a selection of Sales Events (assuming they are set up in the system) and tag one of the Events to the sale you are tendering. (Events can be anything: a Veteran's Day Sale, a day-after Christmas special, whatever.) Click on Event, in the Administration menu. The Sales Events Find screen pops up, where there is a list of Events you can choose from. Click on the appropriate Event, then click on the Select button at the right of the screen. You are immediately taken back to the POS screen, and the Event you just selected will be listed directly under the Sale Type link. If you need to deselect the Event before tendering the sale, click on Event again and immediately click on the Select button at the right of the screen. The POS screen will immediately reappear, and the Event will no longer appear under the Sale Type link.

To import the file, simply locate it on your system by clicking the Browse button, then selecting it. Once all of the items from the file have been imported, you will be prompted to change the file name. We recommend that you do change the file name, as this will prevent the file from being imported a second time.
